CLAWS & PAWS, PTown's Pet Film Fest, a special fundraising event in support of Pilgrim Bark Park, Provincetown Film Society and CASAS on Saturday August 29th.

Top dog video submissions will win great prizes like a brand new mountain bike, a gift basket from Paws and Whiskers, or one year of free films at Waters Edge Cinema!

A fun event for dogs and their people companions was held on a delightful Saturday morning in June. This well-attended event featured Dog Sketches, Canine Massages, Pet-i-cures, Flying Disc Dog Demo, A Kissing Booth, Canine Skateboarding and more. Our community friends provided a variety of dog-friendly supplies, resources, and information. Check out the photos.

11.15.2010: Grand Slam For Animal Welfare In Provincetown!
A pet emergency shelter at the Veteran's Memorial Elementary School passed in a vote of 3-2 by the School Committee on November 9, 2010. Proposed by-laws, Unlawful Tethering of Dogs and Animals Left Unattended in Motor Vehicles, overwhelmingly passed at Town Meeting on November 8, 2010. Provincetown's new by- law, Unlawful Tethering of Dogs, represents only the third town in Massachusetts to have such a law, and Animals Left Unattended in Motor Vehicles is the FIRST law of its kind in Massachusetts! Proposed by- law making Pilgrim Bark Park's rules and regulations a Town by- law with fines for non compliance overwhelming passed at Town Meeting on November 8, 2010.
